The Department of Social Welfare, ICDS Project Longleng, organized the launching programme of Poshan Maah at EBRC hall, Longleng on 6th September 2023.

District Coordinator for Poshan Abhiyaan, Longhong in his keynote address said during the celebration of Poshan Maah, it shall strive for massive improvement in the nutritional and health of pregnant women, lactating mother, adolescent girls and 0-6years by creating awareness through various channels. He also urged all anganwadi workers to reach out to the beneficiaries.

CDPO Longleng, Anuno Longho administrated the Poshan Pledge. The programme was chaired by B.C Poshan Abhiyaan, Chingyang while vote of thanks was delivered by Sr, Supervisor Shahnyu Phom. The Launching Program was attended by all Anganwadi workers under Longleng district.

TECHNICAL EDUCATION NOTIFIES ON POST-MATRIC AND MERIT-CUM-MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIP

In continuation of the Technical Education Department’s office even letter number, dated 8th August, 2023 and 4th Sept, 2023, it has informed students who have applied for Post-Matric and Merit-cum-Means based scholarship under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, GoI that only those students who have updated their place of Biometric Authentication and uploaded the necessary documents in NSP may report to the Technical Education Department office in person as scheduled on 7th and 8th September, 2023.

            Meanwhile, it has also informed that technical glitches/error while updating the State/District at National Scholarship Portal is being addressed by the Ministry.

 With regards to ongoing Bio- Metric Authentication exercise, from now on, all  information /updates on PMS and MCM scheme related to this exercise will be disseminated through the Directorate of Technical Education website dtenagaland.org.in under Notification Section. Students have been advised to check the said website regularly until the exercise is completed.
