Social Welfare Department Longleng organized Poshan Maah Closing Programme on ICDS project on 30th September 2022 at CDPO office compound Longleng.

Special guest SDO (Civil) Longleng, Throngdiba Tongpi Sangtam, in his address, acknowledged the CDPO and team for the successful conduct of the month-long Poshan Maah activities. Stating that it was an honor to be a part of programmes related to social welfare, and child development, he added that they should identify malnourished children, and pregnant women and provide good care and children below six years should be provided good nutrition etc.

"Since its inception in 2018, we can see the fruits and progress of the mission and hope it will continue at the same level of progress in the future," he added.

CDPO Longleng T. Longlang Lakupan briefed on month-long Poshan Maah activities and followed by distribution of prices for the baby show, cooking competition, and best performing AW center.

Wanaok, AWW shared experiences and activities done by AW Centre Tangha village. Longhong delivered the welcome address, a vote of thanks was delivered by L. Shamdok Menlai Phom, Supervisor, and benediction was pronounced by Tongji, AWW Longleng. Earlier the programme was chaired by Pauloi Phom, District Programme Assistant Poshan Maah Abhiyaan.
