Poshan Maah & ICDS Project 2022 was launched in Longleng under the theme ‘Converging towards a healthy walk through life’ by CDPO, Longleng, Longlang Luckpan at CDPO’s Office complex on 3rd September 2022 in the presence of Anganwadi and Health workers of the district.

While launching the programme, CDPO Longlang Luckpan spoke on the policies and programmes of Poshan Maah, its activities and the role and responsibilities of the health workers in the grassroot level. He also administered the Poshan Pledge to the health workers and officials.

S. Longhong (DC, Poshan Abhiyan) proposed the welcome address, Afen (DC PMMVY) spoke on awareness of PMMVY and best working experience was shared by Merenchenla AWWs and Limayangla AWWs. Guidelines related to Poshan Maah activities was delivered by Chingyang (Block Co-ordinator), Longleng and closing remarks was delivered by L. Shamdok Menlei Phom, Supervisor ICDS, Longleng.
