As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the Azadi Ka Mahotsav initiative, Prabhat Pheris (morning procession/walks) was organized by the district administration, Bhandari on 12th August 2022 at Bhandari, Wokha.

In a brief programme held before the procession, Additional Deputy Commisioner Bhandari, Rohit Singh, IAS highlighted on the objective of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign initiated by the Government of India and stated that the campaign encourages the people to bring home the Tricolour National Flag and hoist it to celebrate the 75th Independence Day with pride and honour.

Heads of offices, administration, govenment servants, public leaders, GBs and students participated in the procession which started at town hall junction, Bhandari and culminated at Sports Ground, Bhandari.

The Bhandari administration also conducted a mass social work on the same day as part of preparation for the upcoming Independence Day celebration and as monsoon alertness drive. Drainages & road clearance, pothole fillings and general cleanliness drive were carried out during the social work.
