President of India, Droupadi Murmu arrived at the Dimapur airport on 2nd November 2022, by Indian Airforce Aircraft BBJ.

On arrival, the President was received by Governor of Nagaland and Assam Jagdish Mukhi, Chief of Staff, Sumit Talwar, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal IAS and Commissioner Police Dimapur Rothihu Tetseo from the airport.

Meanwhile, on her arrival at Assam Rifles Helipad, Kohima on 2ndNovember 2022, the President, Droupadi Murmu was accorded a Guard of Honour by the 44 Mountain Brigade, 1 battalion 3 Core Gorkha Rifles.

Governor of Nagaland, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister Nagaland, Y. Patton, Chief Secretary Nagaland, J. Alam; DGP Nagaland, T.J. Longkumer; Major General Vikas Lakhera IG Assam Rifle; Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C and Sr. SP Kohima, Kevithuto Sophie received the President during her arrival at the Helipad.
