President of Rotary Club Kohima, Rotary International Rtn. Adv. Kezhokhoto Savi officially flagged off the 10 Rotarian bikers from the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians INDIA CHAPTER to Imphal, Manipur here in the heart of Kohima Smart City, main road, Box Cutting on 7th May 2022. The 10 Rotarian bikers are from several Rotary Club of Bangalore riding with passion, and responsibility in aid of humanitarian missions. They are doing a motorcycling ride to seven sister states and visited Kohima on the 5th and 6th May 2022. Rotary Club Kohima had a meeting with them on 6th May 2022 at East Gate Hotel, Kohima with the exchange of Club flag, momentous and various Naga tribe bags were presented to them. The International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians is the fellowship group of Rotarians who share the common interest of motorcycling and is the largest of the 100+ Rotary Fellowship with around 2800 members in 30 different countries. Their rides comply with the International Safety Standards and wear the Chapter Tee-shirts and riding vests lending a distinct identity. They are essentially a fellowship group under the Global Networking Rotarians, which is a recognised program of the Rotary International. Currently, they are the Major Donor-Level 3 to the Rotary Foundation. The President of IFMR INDIA CHAPTER Rtn. Ajit Ram calls upon Kohima's Rotary Club upon the Rotary Club of Kohima to start a sub-chapter by encouraging the local bikers to join. India Chapter has 220 members including the members of the 5 sub-chapters: Goa, Hassan, Kochi, Sholapur, and Thrissur. (DIPR)
