In view of the 3rd chief secretaries' proposed meeting in the month of October/November 2023, under the theme "Promoting Ease of Living through Good Governance and the use of Technology," a one-day program on the sub-theme "Ease of Schooling" was held on 31st July 2023 at EBRC Training hall Tseminyu.
In the inaugural program, Kemciyile, SDO (civil) Tseminyu delivered a keynote address and remarked that the orientation on the sub-theme "Ease of Schooling" sought inputs and suggestions from block-level officers, school heads, and representatives of parents-teachers Association and related departments for the assemblage of these inputs into "Feedback/Concept Note." He opined that "Ease of Living" in the context of schooling is for "Creating a supportive learning environment, a safe, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere, providing students with the required resources and support system to cater to the needs of the students." The program was chaired by Chegeseng Kath AHM/JEO, and Chubamenla Tep SDEO/DEO Tseminyu tendered a welcome address. Altogether 35 (thirty-five) attended the program. Chegeseng Kath AHM/JEO Tseminyu moderated the business session on ease of the mark sheet, transfer, and migration certificates, Aadhar registration of students, the quality of infrastructure in schools, schemes & services delivery, improvement learning outcomes in schools, good practices of schools, and issues & challenges.
