The Draft Electoral Roll for Zunheboto District, covering all six Assembly Constituencies (ACs), was published on September 20, 2026, as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 exercise.

The draft electoral roll was published at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Zunheboto, in the presence of representatives of various political parties. Representatives from the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nationalist People’s Party (NPP), and Indian National Congress (INC) participated in the distribution and collection of the Draft Electoral Roll.

The publication was carried out by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Zunheboto, in accordance with the circular issued by the District Election Officer, Dharam Raj, IAS, on September 18, 2026.

Assistant Election Officer (AEO), Bisalee Thonger stated that citizens have been requested to verify their names and particulars in the Draft Electoral Roll at their respective polling stations. They may file claims and objections regarding entries in the draft roll or seek corrections to details and other discrepancies by approaching their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) or Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) at the concerned ADC offices during office hours.

The period for filing claims and objections will remain open from September 20 to October 20, 2026.
