SDPDB Pughoboto cum Pre-Christmas celebration was held with SDBDB Chairman and MLA Y. Vikheho Swu at the DB Court hall, Pughoboto on 16 December 2021.

In the meeting, Swu urged all the village Chairman to beauty and develop their areas during their Chairmanship. He informed that more tree saplings will be planted in all the 24 villages with the help of officers in the month of April 2022. On the Pughoboto district demand, the MLA urged the people to reflect for the upliftment of the areas and also introspect their forefather's contribution in nationalism, migration and religion. Swu said he would continue to give his best for the people as the representative of the area, and he called upon them to contribute positive thinking and also not to miss the bus for creation of Pughoboto district. Pughoboto District demand Memorandum booklet copy was also handed over to all the VCC in the meeting.

ADC Thungchanbemo Tungoe informed the VCC to play their role with positive mindset for a healthy and prosperous environment.

 SAH President Inavi Swu, while highlighting Pughoboto district demand, dwelt on the need to establish a State Bank of India office in Pughoboto.  Appreciating the MLA and ADC for taking special meeting with the VC Chairman and grassroot level workers, he urged the chairman to know more about the government developmental activities and requested them to co-operate with each other.

Swu also delivered a Christmas greetings message, the people gathered stood and took two minutes silence in remembrance of the 14 innocent civilians killed at Oting village and apprised the government to repeal the AFSPA. 

Er. Chengato EE PWD invoked God's Blessings and Youth Secretary SABAK, Hokato Futhena also gave a Christmas message.

The special song was presented by Kaboto Swu, while the program was chaired by SDO Civil, Longasen. The house also welcomed new member SDEO Pughoboto, Wobenthung Lotha.
