Pughoboto Sub Division Planning and Development Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pughoboto SDPDB and MLA Y. Vikheho Swu held at the DB court hall on 16 November 2021.
Chairman Head Office, Nagaland Rural Bank (NRB), V. Venkata Narayanan, AMK shopping Complex, Kohima who presented the NRB power point presentation owned by state Government at the Pughoboto sub-division Planning and Development Board meeting apprised to house that the Pughoboto sub-division will be getting a mobile van with ATM facility sponsored by NABARD by January 2022. He said NRB Pughoboto was established in June 1984, migrated to CBS platform June 2011, and requested to the citizen and the government department officials to promote the bank and avail the financial facilities available.
MLA, Vikheho Swu acknowledged the NRB officials for their initiative to set up an mobile ATM booth van at Pughoboto, the second mobile van in the state next to Mokokchung. He assured that he will highlight to the higher authorities the difficulties faced by the bank institution. Swu asked the departments officers of Pughoboto to open up Government Accounts at NRB, Pughoboto. He also encouraged all the pensioners, who are drawing theirs pension salary from outside the areas to transfer their accounts to NRB, Pughoboto for their convenience. Swu directed the board to send the SDPDB meeting minutes from next month to every village Council Chairman every month so as to know the various government development implementations both the has happened and those are happening.
The board also decided to include one each VCC and student leader in the tree plantation committee from next drive and decided to write a letter to the villages to submit the names to the ADC office. EE (PWD), Pughoboto informed that the some improvements of the road and jungle clearance have started and arrangements have been made for the machinery to clear some section of the roads area wise.
ADC and DEO, SDPDB Vice Chairman Pughoboto, Thungchanbemo Tungoe urged the officers to be present at the meetings regularly. The advent Christmas cum SDPDB meeting has been fixed on 15th December 2021.
