Following heavy rainfall and landslides in Mokokchung district, the PWD (NH), Tuli Division has undertaken clearance operations along NH-02 between Tuli and Merangkong on 23rd July 2026 to restore safe and smooth traffic movement. Machinery and personnel have been deployed to clear debris and restoration efforts are progressing swiftly to reopen the affected stretch at the earliest.
