QUIZ COMPETITION ON SVEEP CONDUCTED AT TUENSANG

A quiz competition was conducted at Town Hall Tuensang organized by District Administration and District Election Office Tuensang on 23rd November 2021 as System Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign. 

ADC & ERO Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma was the special guest if the orogramme while Students of Sao Chang Government College, St John Higher Secondary school, GHSS Thangjam, GHSS Tuensang and Loyem Memorial College participated the Quiz Competition.

Speaking in the occasion the special guest narrated in brief the evolution of governance in the world. He said when we look back into the history governance has has faced many changes and evolution if which democracy is the most popular type of governance in the world. He also encouraged the student present in the programme to take responsibility as young voters to take lead in electing a leader. The moment you attain the age of 18 you will have a legal right and will have a liberal to take part in the election processes he also said.

The idea of having a quiz competition under SVEEP campaign is to educate the young voters about their roles in election processes and the importance of election he said.

The winner if the quiz competition was team Sao Chang Government College and the runners up was bagged by team St John Higher Secondary School and Team Loyem memorial College in third place. 

The quiz master was H P Gupta master trainer and the programme was chaired by Renben Mozhui AEO Tuensang.
