As part of Poshan Maah celebration 2020, ICDS Bhandari held a block level culmination cum cooking competition programme with the theme, “Better nutrition, better health” on 29th September 2020 at the town hall, Bhandari.

SDO Civil, Bhandari, Sulanthung (NCS) the special guest highlighted on the importance of organic food and nutritious balanced diet for healthy pregnant and nursing mothers, adolescent girls and children below six years stating that a healthy family makes a healthy society and a healthy nation.

Nutritious food cooking competition was held whereby Bhandari Town Eloe Hoho was declared the winner and Anganwadi workers team and Banana Self Help Group were declared the runners up.

Child Development Project Officer, Bhandari, T.Y.Peter Yanthan in his welcome address expressed elation for the success of the month long Poshan Maah programme within Bhandari sub division.
