Republic Day was celebrated at Tizit with ADC Tizit, Keyirangding Hegui as the special guest. He unfurled the National Flag and took the salute at the ADC Office complex, Tizit.

During the celebration, the National Anthem was presented by Holy Trinity School, Tizit. The day was also marked by the hoisting of the National Flag in all government offices, and educational and private institutions and the beating of retreat by 6th NAP Bn Tizit.
