The Celebration of 73rd Republic Day was held at public ground, Kiphire with the special guest MLA, T. Yangseo. He delivered the Republic Day speech, followed by march past by five parade contingents- 41 Assam Rifles, DEF Kiphire, 14th NAP (IR) Bn, Village Guards and Pipe Band Platoon. The parade Commander was Asstt. Commandant 14th NAP (IR) Bn, Konathung. 

Prizes were given out during the function: Tobacco free institutions were awarded to Zizaji Presidency College, Loyola HSS and Government Higher Secondary School. 100% Covid-19 vaccination were awarded to Nutsu village, Miliye village, New Monger village, Shishimi village and Old Monger village. And best performance Health Units were awarded to Pungro CHC, Likhimro PHC, Phesami H&WC, Anatonger H&WC and Saloni H&WC. Best performing nurses were Jepitoli G Chishi, GNM, Sitimi PHC; Tsutenla, GNM Sitimi PHC and Thrisela, ANM, Anatonger PHC. The best performing Asha from every administrative circle were awarded to Yokhala from Kisetong village Amahotor Circle; Shenshethsi from Longmatra village, Longmatra circle; Kohila from Longtsonger village, Kiusam Circle; Tsuyimla from Mimi village, Khongsa circle; Thsitingsela from Yangsekyu village, Sitimi Circle and L Tsumongshu from Anatonger village, Kiphire Circle.

Visitations were carried out by different departments: District Hospital by Water Resources Department, Sericulture Department visited District jail and Shalom Children Home was visited by Cooperative Department.
