Minister, PWD (Housing & Mechanical), Tongpang Ozukum hoisted the National flag at Noklak HQ on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day celebration at Noklak.

Minister Tongpang Ozukum received the Rastriya Salute from parade contingents of 3rd NAP Noklak, Village Guards Thangnokyan, Village Guards New Pangsha and Ex- Serviceman. Parade commander was Atriti Sangtam ABI 3rd NAP, parade 2nd in-charge was Ngamnyie Phom, ABSI JA DEF Noklak and Parade CHM was C. Thungo Khiam, Hav. 3rd NAP.

Other highlights of the occasion were Tug of War between DBs & GBs Vs Noklak Police, and Cultural dance was performed by New Pangsha Village Guards.

The Minister also gave away the prize for Best Christmas decoration to Kiamngan ward, High School 'B' ward and High School 'A' ward won second and third position respectively.

To mark the occasion, District Administration, Noklak visited Adora Children Home and Red Cross Society visited District Hospital, Noklak.

In the evening session, exhibition football match was played between DC XI vs SP XI and Beating of Retreat was performed by 3rd NAP Noklak.

Meanwhile while, Minister Tongpang Ozukum paid a visit to undergoing construction of Roads & Bridges office at Noklak town.
