Zunheboto District celebrated the 73rd Republic Day at Zunheboto public ground. Minister of Health and Family Welfare, S. Pangnyu Phom unfurled the national flag.

He unfurled the national flag followed by parade inspection and delivered the Republic Day speech. The parade contingents were led by parade commander, Tongpang Ao, DySP, and Parade 2 I/C, Akoba Sangtam, ABSI. The six contingents were DEF, Home Guard, NAP, Ex-servicemen and Cornerstone school. The special guest inaugurated the exhibition stalls and the program culminated by beating of retreat by 32 Assam Rifles Zunheboto.
