RUN FOR CLEAN ELECTION CUM WORLD CANCER AWARENESS DAY HELD AT CHUMOUKEDIMA

In collaboration with the District Election Office, Chumoukedima, the Department of Education, St. Joseph University organized a marathon race for clean election cum cancer awareness to mark World Cancer Day, on 4th February 2023 in Chumoukedima.

The marathon race started from the 7th Mile junction and culminated at St. Joseph University campus, about 250 students and teachers from St. Joseph University participated in the marathon race. The marathon race was organized to promote the cause of clean and fair elections to the public and also to promote awareness of cancer as a public health issue and take action. Public Relations Officer, Fr. L. Anish flagged off the marathon race. The marathon race winner 1st place went to Kaikho Boniface, B.Com 4th Semester, Dept of Commerce; 2nd place- Rukuvisal Jedediah Rhetso BA 2nd Semester, Department of Political Science; 3rd place- Pekiye T. Achumi BA 2nd Semester, Department of Political Science respectively.
