District Health Society under Chief Medical Officer Noklak launched the Social Awareness and Action to Neutralize Successfully (SAANS) on 12th November 2022 by Deputy Commissioner Noklak, Hiazu Meru, and Dr. Victor NC CMO in charge at CMO Conference Hall, Noklak.

In his brief speech, DC Noklak stressed that Health is a major public issue; all convergent departments should actively participate in creating health awareness at the grassroots level. He also acknowledged the roles played by NGOs and CBOs and further spoke about the importance of making the church another platform to reach out to the general public to develop health-seeking behavior, particularly for children under five to reduce the infant mortality rate in the district.

The programme was attended by the Church leaders, NGO leaders, Convergent departments, and Medical staff from District Hospital and DPMU staff Noklak.
