Noklak along with the rest of Nagaland kicked off the “SAARTHI Awareness on Wheels (mission Parivar Vikas family planning fortnight programme) with Kathyinla, EAC Noklak Hq on 8th July 2023. In her short speech, she expressed the need to stabilize the growth of the population from a socioeconomic perspective in the family and all citizens need to be aware of a stabilized growth of population.

Dr. Victor CMO informed that Saarthi is a campaign where a vehicle is equipped with interactive communication equipment to impart the massage for family planning to provide family planning commodities to educate and inform.

C Hosea N.S. lam DPM briefed on the aims of Saarthi which is to increase sterilization by creating awareness on the usage of condoms, injectable contraceptives, and pills and to maintain at least two years of gap in childbirth to have a healthy baby and healthy mother. He also informed that it will be observing from 11th July to 24th July and encourage the general public to avail of the free service along with the incentives assured by the government. He thanked all the participants and encourage them to disseminate the message in their own locality.
