The Directorate of School Education has notified for the information of all concerned that the ‘Pratham Education Foundation’ has been implementing a free of cost online teacher training and professional development initiative ‘Gurushala’ funded by Vodafone Foundation and Indus Towers Ltd . The initiative aims to build capacity and skills of school teachers to effectively use digital technology so as to positively impact the learning levels of students.

For this purpose, the ‘Gurushala’ team organizes regular online trainings, workshops, subject expert sessions and competitions based on the needs and requirements of States and teachers.  Further, they will be preparing a pre-training communication plan with teachers that can align with their immediate requirements on the basis of information provided during the registration process.

Therefore, teachers serving in all Govt. Schools throughout the State have been directed to get themselves registered at the ‘Gurushala Teacher Training’ link provided at the Teachers’ APP or at DoSE Online Education Services Portal (https://dosenl.in) during the period from 3rd to 22nd December 2020. Head of Institutions of all Govt. Schools are directed to ensure that a minimum of 75 % of teachers serving in their schools register for the Programme without fail.
