Mishikito Student's Union & Science fraternity Mishikito in association with the Department of Science and Technology held a Science Fest cum Exhibition at GPS Mishikito village under the theme "Explore the Possibilities" on 23rd July 2022.

Yanthungbemo Kikon (NCS) SDO Civil HQ Dimapur, while declaring the event open lauded the students union for shouldering the herculean task of organizing such a rare and innovative science event at the village level.

Meanwhile, Er Ononguto Soleho, Chief mentor IHUb & SEC NSC Department of Science and Technology and associate organizer of the event gave a brief introduction to the innovation Hub & Space education center. 18 different science projects were exhibited by the competing participants. Project on the uses of non-convention resources by Angukakito class 9 & Nisushokivi Tsuqhe class 10 won the first prize. Floating house by - Likali K Assumi class 7 and Solar City by - Likivi M Yeptho class 9 won 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively, all together 21 students participated in the exhibition. 

While interacting with the organizers Puloto Shohe, President Mishikito Students Union conveyed the desire of organizing such a programme annually in the interest of the students if the government is supportive of their endeavor.

Earlier, the keynote address was delivered by Er Kikavi Awomi Co-ordinator science fraternity Mishikito while Uto V Chishi, Asst professor (Drama in Education) gave away the prizes, and Lucy Sumi, Ph.D. Scholar NIT Nagaland anchored the event.
