Sechu-Zubza Youth Organization (SZYO) is organizing a flower festival from 1st November to 20th December 2021, by the roadside on NH-29. The objective of the festival is to provide a ready platform for local producers to showcase and sell their flowers, as well as other products. The geo-climatic conditions of Sechu-Zubza and its surroundings are very suitable for the production of numerous agricultural and horticultural crops, including flowers.
The SZYO hoped that the financial windfall generated during the festival will attract more villagers to take up flower cultivation and the festival will serve as a stepping stone to a vibrant, self-reliant local economy.
