The second round of training for the presiding officers and 1st polling personnel under Kiphire district for the forthcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 was held at GHSS Kiphire on 13th February 2023.

T Wati Aier, Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire appealed to all the trainees to attend the training so as to avoid arrest warrant. He also said that due to shortage of staff, everyone should cooperate with the district administration.

General Election Observer, Sridhar Babu Addanki IAS exhorted all the polling personnel to concentrate on the training so as to perform their duties deligently. He also emphasized on the need to get well acquainted with the handbook for the presiding officer.

Police Observer, Dr. Amandeep Singh Kapoor IPS requested the trainers to focus and concentrate on the voting process and the formalities inside the polling booth, and if any violation should happen in the polling station, the security forces will be there to handle.
