Seminar on Handloom and Handicrafts was held at Y. Anner Village, Shamator on 18th January 2023. The seminar was organised by Researchers Documentation Committee on Yimkhiung Cultural Attires and Ornamants (DCoYT&O) and Yimkhiung Tribal Council (YTC) with Ruthsan Kiuthsuthong, Member, DCoYT&O as the resource person.

Ruthsan Kiuthsuthong acknowledged the community for preserving the rich tradition and culture of the Yimkhiung tribe.  She to appealed all the weavers to maintain its originality as mixing of modern designs will result in lost of its credibility. The seminar was attended by village elders from various villages, scholars and YTC team.
