A  ten days training seminar for  Senior Citizens Helpline was conducted by the Good Samaritan women society in collaboration with the State Government and  the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment at Meriema, Kohima from the 5th January 2021till the 16th January 2021.

The training was conducted by Consultants of NHSC (National Helpline for Senior Citizens) and NISD (National Institute of Social Defence) Delhi.

The training concluded with a function held at the Old Age Home, Meriema which was graced by Medoselhou Keretsu (Secretary) and K Seyie (Treasurer) from the Senior Citizens Association, Nagaland. The resource persons included Arjun Ganta; Kishore Kumar; Anand K M; Shanti Vemuri; Sunjib Rana; Viphreno Nakhro; Satahi Shijoh and Jyothi.
