The IDFC FIRST Bank Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy for the 2025–26 domestic season kicked off with the first match of the tournament between North Zone and South Zone on the 4th of November, 2025 at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Chumoukedima. The match commenced after an invocation prayer by Gwanilo Khing, Pastor, Rengma Baptist Church, Sovima.
The tournament is being hosted by the Nagaland Cricket Association under the aegis of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and will continue till 14th November, 2025, involving a total of six zonal teams.
The participating State Cricket Associations have been divided into different zones.In the North Zone, the associations include DDCA, Punjab CA, HPCA, Haryana CA, JKCA, UTCA Chandigarh, and SSCB.
The South Zone comprises Tamil Nadu CA, KSCA, Hyderabad CA, Andhra CA, Goa CA, Kerala CA, and CA Pondicherry.
The East Zone consists of CAB, Odisha CA, Assam CA, Tripura CA, Jharkhand SCA, and Bihar CA.
In the West Zone, the associations are Mumbai CA, Maharashtra CA, Gujarat CA, Baroda CA, and Saurashtra CA.
The Central Zone includes UPCA, Rajasthan CA, MPCA, Vidarbha CA, RSPB, CSCS, and CA Uttarakhand.
Finally, the North-East Zone comprises Sikkim CA, Nagaland CA, Arunachal CA, Meghalaya CA, Manipur CA, and CA Mizoram.
The Tournament will feature both national and international women cricketers from across the country. This is the first time that the Nagaland Cricket Association is hosting this premier domestic T20 championship.
