A one-day sensitisation and capacity building under Information, Education and Communication (IEC) on the flagship of Azadi Amrit Mahotsav under the banner of Swachh Bharat Urban 2.0 was organised at Vamuzo Memorial Hall, Chozuba Town on 24th March 2022.

EAC, Obangnener Jamir as the resource person, shared on the topic "City Sanitation Action Plan, Characterisation and GAP Analysis". Jamir also shared on door to door waste collection which was launched on 23rd March 2022. EAC, Er. Omegali highlighted on "IEC and Action Plan".

Detailed explanation on SBM 2.0; Roadmap for Chozuba Town; ODF... Garbage free rating; Waste segregation and waste management MRF; CWMP, CsnAP; MSW and GAP analysis and Waste quantification was also imparted.

Poranyi Shijoh, head GB in his speech expressed happiness at the training being organised. He also appealed to the gathering to keep their surroundings and wards clean.

Representatives from nine wards of Chozuba Town, schools, churches and wards took part in the training. The programme was chaired by Sato Veswuh.
