Sensitization on Covid-19 Vaccination was conducted on 17th February 2021 at SP Office Premises Kohima.

            Briefing the Police Personnel on Covishield vaccination, CMO Kohima Dr. Vezokholu stated that Covishield vaccine had undergone various tests where first phase was vaccinated to the health care workers and second phase to Frontline workers. She urged the attendees to do away with rumours and fake messages on social media and requested them to avail the vaccine without any doubt. She mentioned, that 1,300 Police personnel under Kohima SP Office have registered their names on the Covid-19 Vaccination Portal where she requested the Police personnel to sensitized about the Covishield in their respective units to have vaccination dose without hindrance   

            Deputy CMO and Immunization Officer Kohima Dr. Robert also stated that the Covishield vaccine was safe for use, however, the vaccine would not be encouraged to be used for people below 18 years of age, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
