Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS informed that relief to needy people was extended by Seva Bharati, Mon District in collaboration with District Administration, Mon on 15th-16th of April 2020. A total of 210 needy people including widows, daily wage earners, stranded students and senior citizens living within Mon Town were given food packages consisting of rice, pulse, vegetables, and tea leaves. The identification of beneficiaries and distribution of relief was done under the charge of Lucy Y. Elang, In-Charge, Seva Bharati, Mon.

Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS also expressed gratitude to Seva Bharati, Nagaland for extending assistance to the people of Mon in this time of crisis.
