Shamator Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) / HQ 7 Sector AR organised a free blood group test at St Xavier's School, Shamator town on 25th January 2023.

The programme was organized with an aim to educate the children about knowing one’s own and other blood groups and to give them an insight into the human autonomy. The Battalion also organized a lecture cum drive keeping in view of the International Education Day, celebrated on 24th January.

Principal, St Xavier School, Father John extended his gratitude to the Assam Rifles for the initiative.
