On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Shamator Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) / HQ 7 Sector AR organized an awareness lecture on Cancer & Free Blood Group Test at Shamator Village, Shamator district, Nagaland on 4th February 2023.

Shamator Bn also org an awareness lecture on Cancer, keeping in view World Cancer Day with an aim of educating Youths about various types of Cancer. CMO 14 Assam Rifles also emphasized preventive measures for Cancer.

The initiative and commitment of the Assam Rifles were highly appreciated by Thongsang, Village Council Chairman, Shamator Village who expressed his heartfelt gratitude and thanked the Battalion for its kind gesture.
