SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING CONCLUDED AT TAMLU

A week-long demand-driven skill development programme for the Youth of Nagaland in Construction Sector 2022-23, organized by the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship in partnership with Zynorique Initiative Society at Tamlu concluded today in Longleng.

In the culmination program the Village Council, Student Union & Church of Tamlu Town & Village conveyed sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Government of Nagaland, Department of Employment Skill Development & Entrepreneurship & Zynorique Initiative Society for the excellent & much-needed demand-driven skill development program for the Youth of Longleng District.

One of the trainees remarked, "The skills and knowledge of Plumbing, Tiling, Bricklaying, Stonework which I have gained throughout the practical training, I perceive as a very valuable component in my future livelihood".

All the successful participants were awarded a certificate and working tools & machinery. Altogether 5O participants attended the skills training on Plumping, Tiling & Masonry works.

The objective of the training was to increase proficiency, grow skill sets, and efficiency, and provide more employability in the construction sector.
