The ballot box and other election materials in connection with the Presidential Election, 2022 were deposited back to the Returning Officer and Secretary General, Rajya Sabha at Parliament House, New Delhi on 19th July 2022 by the Assistant Returning Officer, Khruohituonuo Rio. She was accompanied by K.V. Vitoho, Section Officer, and Khiudia Newmai, Junior Section Officer.

The Presidential Election was held on Monday, the 18th of July, 2022 between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. at the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat along with the rest of the Country. The counting of votes will take place in New Delhi on 21st July 2022.
