Member, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Moatoshi Longkumer inaugurated the Alumni center cum Students' waiting shed at Dimapur Government College on 6th February 2021 which was constructed by Dimapur Government College Alumni Association in collaboration with DMC.

Moatoshi in his short speech congratulated the Alumni Association and the DMC for the construction which he said is the perfect example of giving back to the society and it will benefit all the students. He stressed on the changes we need in Nagaland, like better roads, better infrastructure, improved economy, peaceful co existence and mentioned that the act of philanthropy is the need of hour in Nagaland.

Administrator, DMC Albert Ezung expressed his gratitude to the Dimapur Government College Alumni Association for constructing the community asset. Talking about developing he said that it is not about a tangible and a physical measurement of some structures. He stressed on the need to broaden our thinking and to inculcate a sense of social responsibility.

Project report was presented by President, DGC Alumni Association, K. Temjen Jamir. Remarks by chairman oriental colony Council, Dimapur and Principal Dimapur Government College. The program was chaired by Treasurer, DGC Alumni Association Mahesh Agarwal.
