The 2023 Naga Darts Championship took place with great enthusiasm and skill at the Hotel Millennium in Kohima. The event spanned two days, from September 9th to 10th, 2023, and attracted darts enthusiasts from across the region.

The closing ceremony of this exciting championship was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries. Kethosituo Sekhose, Director of Youth Resources and Sports, was the Special Guest of the occasion along with Col SBB Sharma, Commandant of the 1st Assam Rifles.

During the closing ceremony and prize distribution, Director Kethosituo Sekhose expressed his delight and enthusiasm for the sport of darts. He was pleased to be introduced to this captivating sport and expressed hope that darts would gain more popularity in the region. Director Sekhose also expressed his optimism that the talented players who participated in the championship would go on to represent their region, both nationally and internationally, showcasing their skills and talents on bigger stages.

The Naga Darts Championship witnessed fierce competition, and the following players emerged as champions in various categories:

Singles:

Champion: Kezhaletuo Semou, Runner-up: Kikruneizo Zatsu, Joint 3rd Place: Neiketou Suohu and Vikhor Tepa Doubles: Champion  Doubles: Vikhor Tepa & Kelhousatuo Yiese, Runner-up Doubles: Kikruneizo Zatsu & Kezhabu Suohu, Joint 3rd Place Doubles: Kezhaletuo & Kekhriengulie, Neibi Solo & Sedevile

Individual Awards: Most Promising Player: Joshua Semou, Highest Check Out: Kezhaletuo Semou, Most Valuable Player: Kikruneizo Zatsu, Most 180s: Kikruneizo Zatsu.

This championship served as a platform to showcase the talent and dedication of darts players in the region, and it was an event that brought the community together in the spirit of sportsmanship and competition.
