Advisor, School Education, K.T Sukhalu inaugurated the newly upgraded Government High School at DC colony and introduction of science stream at GHSS, Peren on 7th April 2022.
K.T Sukhalu in his inaugural address at Government High School (GHS), DC colony said that educating a child is a collective responsibility of both the community and the department, and the government is providing the facilities to look after like our own assets. He congratulated all the teachers for their valuable effort in managing the school in spite of limited resources and encouraged the gathering to give importance in the field of education.
While speaking at the introduction of science stream program at GHSS, Peren, the Advisor assured to provide the required facilities and said that the process for infrastructure is in progress and shortage of qualified post graduate teachers will be addressed soon across the State.
Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang who also spoke at up gradation programme of Government High School, DC colony said that there is no point of leveling back to the past years, instead he urged the gathering to focused on economical and educational sector in molding the youths. He encouraged the student community and also urged the parents to lend full support for their children’s education. Nchang made a mentioned that the teachers should execute their duty sincerely and stop the practice of proxy teachers. He also thanked the Advisor, School Education for hearing the plea of the people by giving the most needed facilities of introduction of science stream and GHS up gradation.
Advisor, Horticulture & Border Affairs, Mhathung Yanthan in his speech said that the people of Peren District is fortunate to have upgraded five schools in the district. He said that comparing to other districts, Peren is doing exceptionally well in the fields of education and congratulated the teaching faculties involving in the educational sector. Yanthan also said that the Government is taking very serious in promoting education by providing good facilities to impart quality education in the State and urged the students to take advantage in the field of learning.
Other speakers in the program included, Iherie Ndang, Retd.Sp; Apeuna Iheilung, Retd. DEO & President ZMO, and Kevipele Iheilung, President NZPO. A short speech was also delivered by Additional Director, School Education, Razouseyi Vese .
The program was chaired by EAC Peren, Seyievilie Pfukri and vote of thanks was delivered by SDEO cum DEO, Repainla Jamir.
