The District Administration and Election office Tuensang organized a Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme at Tower Clock Tuensang on 25th January 2023. ADC Tuensang Thungchanbemo Tungoe highlighted the objective of the SVEEP Campaign. He also encouraged citizens above 18 years of age to get self-registered so that they can enjoy the right to vote in the electoral process of the biggest democracy in the world. He also launched the clean election pledge signature campaign in the programme. 

EAC Tuensang Arhonbeni Ezung encouraged all to take part in the forthcoming election in a free fair and peaceful manner. She also emphasized one man one vote and ethical and moral elections. She also mentioned the power of the voters to elect good leadership for the district so that the development and upliftment of the society can be achieved. Let’s all abstain from malpractice and vote with honesty and integrity, she added. 

Lichemri and S. Yongkhong Kelep also entertained the crowd present in the programme with special numbers.
