The Launching Programme of Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan was held at Conference Hall, District Hospital Tuensang on 17th September 2025.
Speaking on the occasion, EAC Tuensang, Er. Moasanen Imsong stated that women empowerment cannot be achieved without the health improvement of women in society as women are the backbone of the family. The Government initiated this campaign especially for women and children for their improvement in health and nutrition, he said.
He added that our society will improve with the active participation of woman in the policy making of the country and their healthy lifestyle encourages them to take part in it. He also encouraged the line workers to actively work for the success of the campaign.
Other highlights of the day were keynote address by DPO (UIP/RCH) Tuensang, Dr. Y. Waulong Phom, a special presentation from District Hospital Tuensang (DHT) and vote of thanks was delivered by Medical Superintendent DHT, Dr. Sako Yuba Imchen.
The programme was chaired by Senior Medical Officer Tuensang, Dr. Apila Sangtam.
