As a part of systematic voters “Education and Electoral participation (SVEEP) programme, office of the Deputy Commission and District Election office Mokokchung in collaboration with Nagaland Sports Association (NSA) organised a two day free football coaching Cum facilitation programme to create awareness among the participants to help them check their enrolment in the Electoral roll and enable them to get enrolled on the spot for all eligible participants at Imkongmeren Sports Complex from 29th to 30th September 2023.

A formal inaugural programme held at the venue on 29th September 2023, ADC Mokokchung Chumlamo Humtsoe addressing at the gathering said, this initiative of SVEEP by the Election Commission of India (ECI) is to create electoral awareness among the young electorates and to encourage the younger generation to enrich their football knowledge and skills imparted by the coaches provided by SVEEP during the two day coaching sessions.

The programme was chaired by Assistant District Election Officer Mokokchung Renben Mozhui, invocation prayer was taken by Dr. Tiameren lecturer CTC Aolichen and inspirational song was also presented by student of CTC.
