Abu Metha, Advisor to the Chief Minister and Chairman of the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) announced that the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) will collaborate with Toyota for several significant upcoming events in 2023. Speaking at a press conference held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, Metha unveiled the partnership's details.

TaFMA's partnership with Toyota will encompass the following major events: 

The Voice of Nagaland: A talent hunt open to solo artists, duos, bands, vocal groups, and choirs across various music genres. The winner will be awarded a Toyota car and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.

TaFMA Excellence Award 2023: This initiative aims to recognize and reward youths excelling in their respective fields at the national and international levels. The awardee will receive a Toyota car.

Hornbill Music Festival 2023: Toyota will present this festival, which is set to feature performances from Nagaland's top bands, as well as participants from the USA, Ireland, Colombia, and Israel.

Metha highlighted TaFMA's impressive track record of partnerships with private companies and institutions, with a total of 21 collaborations, including Toyota, Parx, JK Trust, MusiConnect Asia, and others. He emphasized how these collaborations have offered local musicians and artists platforms within and beyond the state's boundaries, even internationally.

Furthermore, Metha acknowledged TaFMA's collaborations with six embassies and five Festival Partners, applauding the organization's efforts in networking and fostering cultural appreciation. He expressed gratitude to Toyota for their support and encouraged other corporations to join hands with TaFMA in nurturing youth talent and contributing to the nation's growth.
