The District Administration and Police carried out a Flag March at Chumoukedima Town area on 14th August, 2023.

The Flag March was led by Deputy Commissioner Chumoukedima, Abhinav Shivam, IAS and DCP Chumoukedima, Munesh, IPS, along with police personnel, administration and GBs. The objective of the flag March was to observe Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav & Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. It also aimed to show patriotism as Indian citizens and reinforced public confidence in law and order machinery and also building friendly relations between the police and the public. The March began from Chumoukedima Town Council office and culminated at CT Square, Chumoukedima.
