Executive Engineer Power Wokha, Er. Chonronthung Ezung graced the inaugural function of the first day of the Lotha Tokhu Emong Mini Hornbill Festival 2022, the night carnival as the special guest which started today the 3rd November 2022 at the Local Ground Wokha.

On the first day, Er. Ezung inaugurated the night carnival where various stalls were put up by different Self Help Groups, Government Departments, and local entrepreneurs, around 100 stalls were put up for the four days night carnival.

Speaking during the inaugural function, Ezung wished the community prosperity and also urged the Lotha community to prevail in the sense of forgiveness among one another as Tokhu Emong signifies forgiveness, love, and strengthening relationships.

The four-day-long festival will witness various indigenous games, folk dances, folk songs, and modern Lotha songs.

The final day- 7th of November 2022 will be graced by MLA, Imkong L. Imchen at Local Ground Wokha.
