District Administration of Peren led by ADC & EAC Jalukie in collaboration with the Ward Chairmen of Jalukie Town extended relief services to the needy people to all the wards under Jalukie Block by distributing food packages on 22nd April, 2020 at G.A Rest House, Jalukie.

All together more than 500 beneficiaries availed the facilities and the beneficiaries mostly belong to under-privileged background who are immensely affected by the nation-wide lockdown.

The distributed essential commodities comprising of 3 kgs rice, 1 kg dal, 1 kg potato, 1 kg onion, 1 kg salt and 1 litre of refined-oil were donated by the Leader of Opposition, T.R. Zeliang.
