In view of the 11th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly w.e.f. 19/03/2022 to 25/03/2022, the following traffic regulations will be enforced as part of the security arrangement. 

 

1.      Only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat. 

i. ‘X’ (White letter with blue background)               -For Legislators 

ii.‘Y’ (Black letter with Green background)             -For AHoDs/HoDs 

iii.‘Assembly Logo’                                                -For Assembly Staff 

iv.‘LH’ (Black letter with white Background)           -For Police Personnel and P.S/P.A 

v. ‘O’ (Black letter with Yellow Background)           -For IPR/Media and Other Department 

vi.‘ON ASSEMBLY DUTY’ (White letter with Red background) - For Staff Bus/Pool & Dak Vehicles 

2.      No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 0600 hrs onwards during Assembly Sessions at the following routes; 

i.  From BSNL Telephone Exchange till Classic Island. 

ii. From Raj Bhavan till M.S Classic Island. 

iii. From Classic Island to Assembly Secretariat via Razhü point and High School. 

iv. From New CM Official Residence, Phezoucha to Assembly Secretariat. 

3.      Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during Assembly Session, from 0600 hrs till the session is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 0600 hrs (morning) during Assembly Session. 

4.      Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along ‘D’ Block road. 

 While anticipating positive co-operation from the public, the police will tow away the defaulting vehicles and the charges will be borne by the vehicles owners.
