The Third Round Training of Polling Officials for the upcoming Bye Election of 43 (ST) Tapi Assembly Constituency in Mon was conducted on November 4, 2023, at the Town Hall. The training session served as a crucial preparatory step for the forthcoming election.

            During the training, the instructors provided detailed information and addressed frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to the mock poll and the actual polling process. The key topics covered included:

The commencement time for the mock poll; The number of votes to be cast during the mock poll; The procedure for extracting paper slips from the VVPAT after the mock poll; The closing time for polling and the distribution of tokens to voters after the polling time has ended.

In addition to the FAQs, Ajit Kumar Verma Mon, the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer (DEO) of Mon, shared valuable insights and guidance regarding the conduct of the election. His inputs were aimed at ensuring a peaceful and successful election process.
