A webinar on the orientation and training for District Commissioners and Nodal Officers of Multi-Sectoral districts of BBBP, Nagaland was conducted on 17th December, 2021 by the State Level BBBP, Mahila Shakti Kendra. The moderator, Juliana Medom, BBBP State Team Leader gave an overview of the various activities conducted under BBBP in the state including best practices and best performing districts. Sarah R. Ritse, Commissioner and Secretary, Department of Social Welfare and Administrator, NSSWB urged the multi- sectoral districts to make the BBBP scheme more effective. While Khrienuo Tachü, Chairperson, Nagaland State Commission for Women applauded the District Administration for carrying forward the BBBP scheme in their districts. She further stated that more interventions in remote villages will create a greater impact. Neingusalie Theünuo, Assistant Director called for more awareness and training of Angawadi Workers who are the grass root workers of BBBP scheme. The webinar ended with a Q and A session, where all the stakeholders shared their opinions and concerns.
