The 6th Lap Demand Driven Skill Development Training in Construction Sector for Multi Skill Technician implemented by The Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, GoN, in Collaboration with impaneled Training Partner- Zynorique Initiative Society was inaugurated at Sanis Town under Wokha District at ADC Hq on 11th July 2022.

A brief note on the Training program was given by Chairman, Zynorique Initiative Society, Ar. Richard Belho. He highlighted the importance of skill development and the common vision towards skilling the youth for livelihood purposes and working towards mitigating the problems of unemployment in the State.

Deputy Director, Zubemo Lotha Tsanglao spoke on behalf of the Department and enunciated the willingness of the department to train the youths in skill-related job roles. Speaking on behalf of the District Skill Committee.

            EAC Sanis, Arhomo Yanthan thanked the Department for bringing the Training Program to the Sanis Sub-Division and encouraged the Trainees to sincerely attend and benefit from the training program. Altogether 50 unemployed youths will be trained in Plumbing and Electrical Job roles during the weeklong Training program. The inaugural programme was chaired by Yilobemo Y Kithan, TA, DEE, Wokha. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Yantsuthung K Erui, Pastor In-Charge of Sanis Town Baptist Church.
