A three-day modular training program for RBSK Mobile Health Team members under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakam (RBSK), National Health Mission, was conducted at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) from 24th-28th July 2023.
The primary objective of the training was to impart essential information and skills required for child health screening and to enhance the performance of all personnel involved in the child health program at Schools and Anganwadi Centres.
The training covered various topics, including the roles and responsibilities of Mobile Health Teams, Basic Genetics, Down syndrome, Cleft lip and palate, Vitamin A deficiency, vision impairment, Heart Diseases, Clubfoot, Dental Conditions, Anemia, skin infections, the area of brains and its functions, Childhood development, Neuro-Motor impairment, Autism, Learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
