The State Election Commission Nagaland Kohima conducted a training program for the Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers for the upcoming election to Municipal/ Town Councils 2023 at DPDB Hall, Kohima on 17th March 2023.

Commissioner & State Election Commission Nagaland, T. Mhabemo Yanthan, highlighted on training on Legal Aspects like Nomination, Scrutiny, Drawing up of list of validly nominated candidates, Poll Day Preparation while Counting & Result Declaration were highlighted and explained by the Master Trainers from CEO's Office Kohima Nagaland.

During the 2nd session, Joint Commissioner & Addl. Secretary, Commissioner's Office Kohima Nagaland, L. Jamithung Lotha interacted with the trainees. Hands on Training (Ballot Box) was done amongst the ROs and AROs.

The training program was attended by ADCs, SDO(C) and EACs from across the state. Moderator of the day's programme was Under Secretary, SEC, Tsutsowe Kupa.
